Adventure Together
Washington Elopement-Style Vow Renewal Photography
Your wedding day went by in a blur and there are moments you wish you had slowed down for, photos you wish you’d taken, or emotions that never fully made it into your gallery. A vow renewal is your chance to rewrite that story and intentionally capture the connection, quiet moments, and breathtaking views you missed the first time.
Based in Washington, I photograph elopement‑style vow renewals across the Pacific Northwest, from Mount Rainier and the North Cascades to the Olympic Peninsula and the coast. Instead of a rushed timeline and a crowded reception, you can design a day that feels like you: reading new vows on a mountain trail at sunrise, revisiting the place you first met, or exploring a wild PNW beach hand‑in‑hand.
If you’re craving photos that reflect the way your love looks and feels as you have grown together over the years, a Washington vow renewal is the experience you didn’t know you needed.

Why Couples Love Working With Me
Photographer, planner & guide in one
Your experience starts long before your elopement or wedding day. I help with location ideas in Washington, the PNW, Arizona, and Utah, walk you through permit logistics, and build a timeline that fits the kind of day you want. You are never left to figure out your Washington elopement or destination wedding alone; you have a partner who cares about both your experience and your photos.
Safety, reliability & awareness
With Basic Tactical Medicine training and a LE background, safety is built into every step. I’m early, calm, and always paying attention to weather, terrain, and surroundings, so your adventure feels exciting but never reckless. Whether you’re eloping on a Washington trail or having a desert ceremony, your day is handled with care and awareness.
Zero-stress, “Mary Poppins” packing style
I’m a chronic over-prepper which means my backpack is basically a mobile comfort kit. From first-aid and tape to headlamps, hand warmers, snacks, wipes, and extra layers, I bring the boring-but-important stuff so you don’t have to stress over every detail. You get to show up ready to enjoy the day, knowing someone has thought through the “what ifs.”
Grounded guide & hype woman
I’ll guide you when you need direction, step back when you need space, and keep the energy relaxed and encouraging. Most couples start out saying they feel awkward in photos; most end the day saying it felt way more like hanging out than posing. That’s exactly the point.

Hi, I’m Sydney!
Outdoor Adventure Photographer Based in Washington State
I discovered photography a few years ago while backpacking and chasing the Milky Way, and what started as a curiosity quickly became a deep passion. Today, photography is my part-time gig, but something I pour my heart into every single day.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, weightlifting, or skiing blues and greens. I’m also a Search and Rescue Coordinator, which fuels both my love for the outdoors and my ever-growing travel list.
I’m currently training for the 100m and 200m sprint for the USA Police & Fire Games, with Worlds in Australia coming up in 2027. I
I’m so thankful for my past and future clients…this journey wouldn’t be possible without you. I can’t wait to meet you

or Both
Why some couples choose to elope
Eloping is about creating a wedding day that’s simple, intentional, and centered on the two of you. For some couples, that looks like sharing vows in the Washington mountains, wandering through a quiet PNW forest, standing on a windswept beach, or exploring the Arizona or Utah desert at sunrise or sunset.
With an elopement, you get freedom from rigid timelines and expectations. There is space to slow down, hike, breathe, cry, laugh, eat, and be fully present without feeling like you are hosting a huge event. Your Washington, Arizona, or Utah elopement can be just the two of you or include a handful of your favorite people.
Why some couples choose a full wedding
Other couples feel most at home with a full wedding day — gathering their people in one place, celebrating with a full guest list, and dancing late into the night. A traditional Washington wedding or destination wedding can still be intentional, relaxed, and deeply meaningful.
My approach to wedding photography is the same as my approach to elopements: real moments over perfection, guided timelines with breathing room, and a focus on connection. Whether you choose an intimate elopement in the PNW or a full wedding in a classic venue, there is no “right” way to get married — only the way that feels like you.

Washington State Weddings and Elopements
Mt Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier is a dream location for Washington elopements, with wildflower meadows, alpine lakes, fire lookouts, and sweeping mountain views that feel straight out of a movie. A Mount Rainier elopement can look like sunrise at Sunrise, golden hour at Paradise, or a quiet hike to a hidden overlook where you read vows with the tallest peak in Washington glowing behind you.
Mt. Baker National Park

Mount Baker is perfect for couples who want a Pacific Northwest elopement that feels wild, quiet, and a little more off the beaten path. A Mount Baker elopement can include driving the scenic Mount Baker Highway, exploring heather meadows and alpine lakes, and watching alpenglow hit the peaks while you share vows at sunset
Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park is one of the most epic places to elope in Washington, with mossy rainforests, rugged Pacific Northwest coastlines, and mountain views all in one day. An Olympic National Park elopement can include hiking through Hoh Rain Forest, sharing vows on Rialto or Ruby Beach, and watching sunset over Hurricane Ridge
Utah Elopements
Utah elopements mean dramatic sandstone cliffs, canyons, and desert light. I photograph couples in places like Zion, Moab, and Bryce Canyon, crafting timelines that balance exploring with slow, intimate moments together. Your Utah elopement can be a full-day adventure, a sunrise-to-sunset experience, or something short and sweet with a few favorite people.
ICELAND
Iceland elopements feel wild, cinematic, and otherworldly. From black sand beaches and glacier lagoons to waterfalls and northern lights skies. As a Washington-based elopement photographer who travels often to Iceland, I help couples plan intentional, stress-free elopement days in some of the most dramatic landscapes on earth

Arizona Elopements
For Arizona elopements and engagement sessions, think red rock views, wide-open desert, slot canyons, and sunsets that light up the whole sky. From Sedona to Northern Arizona, your elopement day can be as relaxed or adventurous as you want …with time to explore, breathe, and really take in the landscape.
